Satsuma Loans is a fresh new brand from Provident Personal Credit offering customers cash loans between £100 and £1000 that can be repaid with monthly or weekly repayment options.
Then as we get to know you a little bit better, you could borrow up to £2000.
Try our simple loan calculator to find how much is affordable for you. With Satsuma Loans there are zero fees guaranteed so the total interest amount on your loan will never change.
Once you’ve chosen how much you’d like to borrow and how long you’d like to pay it back, apply online using our simple and secure application form. If accepted your loan will then be transferred to your bank account within an hour by Faster Payments. It's as simple as that.
Repayments will come off your debit card automatically by Continuous Payment Authority.
For weekly repayments your first repayment will be collected between 7 and 13 days after your loan has been issued, on a day agreed with you during your application. The rest of your repayments will be collected on the same day each week until the end of your repayment term, even if this falls on a bank holiday. You'll always know when your payments will be. We'll never try to take a payment on a day that's not been agreed.
Whilst you are a customer with us, you will have a personal contact in the Satsuma Loans Customer Care Team, who will be available for you to speak to should you have any questions who can be contacted on 0800 694 0004.
Now that’s handy.
We have a fresh approach to lending that sets us apart from other loan providers
The Satsuma Loans Customer Care Team can be contacted on 0800 694 0004.
As a new customer, you can borrow between £100 and £1000 subject to an affordability check.
At Satsuma Loans we have a zero fee guarantee, which means you will only pay the amount of interest you agree upfront.
This sets us apart from many of our high street and online competitors who may add to the total cost of your loan throughout the term for a variety of reasons such as late or missed repayments.
We don't add any charges or fees after your application is accepted. The total amount of interest you will pay is displayed upfront as part of the application process and we will never charge you more interest.
A Continuous Payment Authority is a way of making your loan repayments by giving us permission to collect your repayments from your debit card. This means you don't have to lift a finger, it all happens automatically.
We offer Continuous Payment Authority repayments as it's a flexible choice for our customers. They're simple to set up, all you need is your debit card details and if your bank declines payment due to insufficient funds when we try to collect your repayment there are no charges.
We think it's important that customers know exactly when they'll make their payments and how much they'll be, so we agree with you upfront your repayment amount, the date of collection and your chosen card and this will never change unless you ask for it to. We will also only attempt to collect each repayment once. If this is unsuccessful we will contact you.
You can get in touch by calling our Customer Care Team on 0800 694 0004 or 0330 303 2000. They’ll be happy to help you. You can also get in touch by post or email or online by completing the form on our Contact us page.
If you want to make a complaint about our product or services getting in touch is exactly the same. Just visit our Contact us page for full details. We aim to give our customers the best service we can, but if you feel you haven’t had a good experience we will try to resolve the problem as soon as possible. A borrowing summary (or a summary of borrowing) is a way to show customers the cost of the money they have borrowed from a lender as well as how much they have paid in additional fees and charges for their loan/s. It provides details about the most recent loan as well as loan/s taken over the last 12 months.
We are required to provide you with this information so that you see how much the money you have borrowed in the last 12 months has cost you in interest payments. Providing this information should help you to make future borrowing decisions.
The summary reminds you how much you borrowed and then sets out how much that loan cost you in interest and, if you didn’t make payments on time or in full, whether the lender imposed any additional charges or fees on you as a result and how much these amounted to. Satsuma does not impose any additional fees and charges on our customers.
Additionally the summary will show whether you paid the loan off in full and on time or whether you missed any payments or paid less than the contracted amounts.
We are required to provide this information to you at certain points during the lifetime of your loan/s. These are: when you have completed all your loan repayments; should you stop making repayments and you receive a Notice of Default; if you’ve stopped making repayments and the debt is written off by us.
The summary will be made available on the within one working day of these trigger events usually via the MySatsuma page on our website. You will also be reminded of the availability of the summary when you next apply for a Satsuma loan if it is within 12 months of your last loan from us.
No – a borrowing summary is not available on demand. The information will be provided to you at certain points during the lifetime of your loan, if applicable. The summary will be available to view for the 12 months from the day of issue by logging into MySatsuma.
No. The summary is only made available to you though some of the information such as any missed or late repayments will be shared with credit reference agencies as part of our obligation to share such data.
A borrowing summary is only provided for loans taken out within the last 12 months. If you’ve had a loan within the last 12 months and haven’t received a borrowing summary, it may be that you haven’t reached any of the trigger points outlined here.
If, once you have read all of the information provided in the FAQ section, you still don’t understand your borrowing summary, please contact our Customer Service Team on 0800 694 0004 who will be happy to help.
